Terms of use
Last updated November 5, 2026.
The two agreements
Rippit on the App Store is licensed to you by Apple under the Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms cover the service: the lines, the photos you ask us to write for, and the subscription you buy from Apple. If these terms and Apple’s license disagree about the app as a piece of software, Apple’s license wins.
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the lines, the website, or the service. Questions about Rippit go to REPLACE_EMAIL, not to Apple. Replace that address before you submit.
The service
Rippit gives you one-liners. You can swipe a library of lines, copy one, put one on a photo you choose, and ask for a reply to a message. Some lines are written ahead of time. Some are generated for a photo or a chat after you subscribe. A generated line can be off, odd, or wrong. You decide what to send. It is not advice.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 13. The app is not directed at children under 13. You need an iPhone and an Apple ID to subscribe.
Subscriptions
Rippit is sold as an auto-renewable subscription. The service during a paid period is the line library, lines on your photos, and replies.
- Rippit Annual. Length: 1 year. Price shown in the app: $29.99 per year.
- Rippit Weekly. Length: 1 week. Price shown in the app: $2.99 per week.
The price you are charged is the price displayed on the App Store at the time of purchase, which can differ by country. Both plans include a 7-day free trial for a new subscriber who has not already used one. If the trial is not available, payment can start today.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. If you start a trial, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel first. The subscription renews for the same length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription before the trial finishes, where Apple’s rules say so.
Manage or cancel in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Refunds are requested from Apple, not from Rippit. The app includes Restore purchases for a subscription you already bought.
Your photos and your messages
You keep the photos you already own. You give Rippit permission to send a photo you pick, a note you type, or a screenshot you attach to Google Gemini through Firebase, only so the app can write lines. Details are in the Privacy policy. Don’t send a photo or a chat you don’t have the right to use.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Rippit to harass, threaten, or break the law. Don’t try to pull the line library out in bulk, scrape the app, or break App Check or the subscription check. Don’t submit someone else’s private photos or messages without their say-so.
The lines
The library, the logo, and the app are owned by the developer of Rippit. A line the app writes for you is for you to say, send, or put on your own photo. That does not make the library yours to republish. Other people’s names, team marks, and game icons that appear while you are setting the app up belong to their owners.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as is. Lines are jokes. They are not a promise about a person, a situation, or an outcome. To the extent the law allows, Rippit is not liable for what you choose to send, or for lost profits or indirect damages. If a warranty cannot be disclaimed where you live, it is limited to the shortest period the law allows. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.
Changes
These terms can be updated. The date at the top will change. If you keep using Rippit after that, the new terms apply to the service. Apple’s license changes only when Apple changes it.
